# Home Server Setup Plan

## Purpose

The home server will be the primary production platform for AstraCloud Developer Platform.

## Minimum Requirements

Recommended:

- CPU: 4 cores or more
- RAM: 16 GB or more
- Disk: 250 GB SSD or more
- OS: Ubuntu Server LTS
- Network: Static local IP

## Phase 1 Tasks

1. Install Ubuntu Server.
2. Set static IP.
3. Update packages.
4. Create admin user.
5. Add SSH key.
6. Disable password SSH login.
7. Enable firewall.
8. Install Docker.
9. Install K3s.
10. Install kubectl and Helm.
11. Verify K3s node status.

## Important Commands Later

sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y
curl -sfL https://get.k3s.io | sh -
sudo kubectl get nodes
helm version
```

## Notes

Do not expose the server directly to the internet in early phases. Use LAN access first, then Cloudflare Tunnel.
